If the air valve set is installed in areas susceptible to flooding, the installation of a flood protection can prevent dirty water from flowing back via the air valve set and subsequently into the drinking water system.
Flood protection, consisting of a flood hood with lid, sealing plug, and outlet nozzle d 50 mm for air valve set Ord. No. 993-00. The sealing plug is used to close the drain hole (possible from above at a later date).
The vent pipe and the vent flue, as well as the related supply pipes must be provided by the customer.
