Pipe drilling device "Hawlomat"

The drilling device "Hawlomat" is used for drilling 1" - 2" boreholes in water pipelines and waste water pipelines of DCI, steel, PVC, PE, and AC.
When combined with a pipe drilling saddle, in-service drilling is possible.

Drilling procedure (for example with pipe drilling saddle Hawlinger®):
- Install Hawlinger® on pipe
- Open Hawlinger® completely
- Install drilling device on Hawlinger®
- Turn feed nut back to the red marker (to ensure that the drilling path is long enough)
- Move spindle with drill bit to the main line and lock it in the nearest notch using the locking screw
- Drill using the ratchet handle while carefully feeding in the feed nut
- Flush out chips at the flushing valve now and then
- After drilling loosen the locking screw carefully, at the same time hold drill spindle (model no. 8490000024) with manual force (because of pressure from inside)
- Pull back drill spindle
- Flush again, close Hawlinger® and dismantle drilling device
