Tele-Hydrant®

The Tele-Hydrant® is an advanced version of the freeflow underground hydrant. Due to its special design, the Tele-Hydrant® combines the advantages of above ground and underground hydrants.

The standpipe and the hydrant head of the Tele-Hydrant® are already integrated just as in case of the above ground hydrant. This permits a quick and easy access when water is needed. Analogous to the standard version of the freeflow underground hydrant, shutting off is effected via a shut-off blade of stainless steel.

When the Tele-Hydrant® is to be used, the integral standpipe is pulled upward above road level or ground level after removing the surface box. After water is with drainagl, the standpipe can be lowered again into the box. Thus the Tele-Hydrant® is protected in areas with increased traffic volume as well as from unauthorized use.
