Double strap pipe saddles with flanged outlet DN 80 and auxiliary shut-off device are to be used for installation on DCI, steel, and AC pipes DN 150 - DN 500.
Adaptation to the main pipe is effected via two holding straps, each (model no. 309-00, 310-00 or model no. 311-00, 311-01, 311-02, 311-03), and a saddle gasket (model no. 317-00) of the appropriate nominal width of the main pipe.
In combination with a suitable drilling device the shut-off system with integrated auxiliary shut-off device permits the easy under pressure drilling of the main line.
On drilling, the outlet area is temporarily shut off via a shut-off blade / saddle blade (model no. 840-00) after pulling out the drilling spindle. The saddle blade is available as accessory (see table). After
drilling, valves and pipe fittings (e.g. hydrants or air valves) can be intergrated.
