HAKU Hawlinger with horizontal female thread outlet 90° to pipe direction

HAKU Hawlinger pipe drilling saddles are to be used for installation on PVC pipes (DIN 8062). The two saddle halves are exactly calibrated to the respective outside diameter. When connecting the saddle halves an inadmissible deformation of the pipe is prevented by metal stops.

The upper female thread outlets in accordance with DIN ISO 228-1 are used in combination with fittings to connect service lines.

All Hawle pipe drilling saddles type Hawlinger are provided with a shut-off blade of stainless steel driven via slotted link gear as shut-off device. The shut-off blade is moved in a housing at low wear in horizontal direction against fixed metal stops.

To open or close the outlet area only one half revolution (180°) is required.

In combination with a tapping device suitable for gas, the shut-off system enables simple tapping of a pipe, even when in operation.

The half-shells are fastened with hexagon bolts or screwless using wedge plugs (d63 only). The locking wedges are secured using locking plates.
