Due to its low weight, the base plate for the manhole cover of the Hawle water meter chamber (Ord. No. 205-01) can be installed easily. On installing the water meter chamber, the base plate is put onto the PE tube of the Hawle water meter chamber and aligned according to the required adjusting range (0 - 3 cm) of the manhole cover. The base plate is aligned by means of the backfill material (gravel or similar). Thus, a reliable load transfer from the manhole cover is ensured via the base plate.
The base plate is made of break-proof, stable, and rot-proof material.
